Cancellation policy

Grace period for full refunds

Once your booking is confirmed, you can cancel for a full refund within 24 hours if your pickup is more than 7 days away, or within 1 hour if your pickup is 7 days or fewer away. There is no grace period for same-day bookings.

Flexible policy

Cancel more than 5 days before pickup and the rental amount is fully refunded. Cancel within 5 days of pickup and you receive a 75% refund of the remaining rental days.

Strict policy

Cancel more than 30 days before pickup and the rental amount is fully refunded, less the service fee. Cancel 30 days or fewer before pickup and the rental amount is non-refundable. Add-ons, delivery, prep fees, and protection packages are always 100% refundable.

Always refundable

These charges are refunded in full regardless of when you cancel:

• Add-ons and extras included in the booking
• Delivery and prep fees
• Protection packages
• Taxes associated with the above items

Non-refundable

Service fees and their associated taxes are non-refundable in all circumstances.

Reservation deposit & payment

If your pickup is less than 30 days away, the booking is charged in full at checkout. If your pickup is more than 30 days away, you can choose to pay a reservation deposit of 50% of the trip cost at booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days before pickup.

A separate refundable security deposit is authorized shortly before pickup and released within 3 business days of return, less any applicable deductions.

If the host cancels

If a host cancels a confirmed booking, you receive a full refund of every amount paid, and our Houston team will help you find a comparable replacement car.

Extenuating circumstances

Active-duty U.S. military members are eligible for a full refund when a cancellation is due to the member or an immediate family member entering active duty. For other unique or extenuating circumstances, contact our team within 24 hours of the issue arising.
